MaMa Rose is located at 605 North Main St. Ashland City, Tn. 37015. Johnny Jones (owner) and wife Vanessa was blessed by Johnny’s grandmother passing her recipes down to Johnny’s mother and then his mother passing the recipes down to her son.
Grand opening day started on Tuesday, March the 19th at 10:30am when people started coming into the MaMa Rose Home Cooking Restaurant and the line continued out the door until around 2:30 pm.
Many people came into eat there or called in for take out. Kelly Ellis from the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce was there with the Ribbon Cutting for the grand opening along with the Mayor JT Smith of Ashland City, The ladies from Bless Your Heart came and made a video for their show, Mickey Daniel ( Higher Ground Band) came and was the entertainment for the Grand opening.
There is a different menu daily. Mama Rose serves BBQ Ribs, Catfish and Fries, Burgers, BBQ Wings, Mac & Cheese, Turnip Greens, baked beans, Hot Water Cornbread and more.
Saturday mornings are now opened up for Breakfast at 8:00am with Fried Potatoes, Bacon, Biscuits, Gravy, Eggs, Waffles, Pancakes etc.
